I listened to Hasan's interview on PSA this week where they discussed the rift between the left/liberal wings and where to go from here with the Dems and whatnot. Jon Lovett seemed to get most annoyed when Hasan said he wants a Democratic party that wields power in the same fashion the Trump wing of the GOP does. Manchin playing games and doesn't want to get on board with a progressive agenda? Use the IRS to investigate his shady conflicts of interests. Have the DOJ indict Governor Abbott for human trafficking for his border stunts. Use your power. Send a message. We live in a uniquely polarized society and constant civility projection and clinging to "norms" does nothing against a hostile force that doesn't give a fuck about that.
