Man, Andrew was really on his game in that era. These are so good. It's wild that only song from this set of demos actually made onto Transit.

 

Can you give us a list of them and tell us if the're good too?

Love GGFO. Besides their own stuff, they had Smallpools on a remix of a song in the summer that’s also really great.

 

I still like them, but their earlier stuff was definitely much better than now

 

I actually think some of their recent stuff has been some of their best. But I totally get that though. I really wish they’d repress III. I’ve hit them up a few times but never heard back. lol

 

I don't dislike it, but for me it's much more passive listening now and kinda blends together for the most part. The haven't made anything as good as Say It All, Take It Or Leave It or Already Love in a very long time

Seems like stuff's starting to happen on the Jack's IG page

 

They are touring this year. It’s a Jack’s focused year. Festivals. At least one full tour, not sure if co headline or main support. Now that I think of it, I wasn’t told what slot really, maybe opener? Regardless, there are two other bands and one is above Jack’s, for sure.

 

Maybe like a Hello Gone Days sort of deal

 

From my understanding though, there is a headliner and not a swapping nights thing. I don’t particularly want to see the other bands. Not sure if I would want Jack’s first and then leave or them second and still get home early.

 

Bummer it’s not a headliner. Hopefully I’ll like it least one of the other bands

 

And at least I’ll be at red rocks!

Tickets went on sale during a...very rough time and I said fuck it and bought VIP. Oh well! It's a bucket list venue and I'm really looking forward to the tour of the space.

 

I would very much be down for a Third Eye Blind + Jacks Mannequin tour.

Especially since I’ve got this bad feeling it’s gonna instead be something corny like AJR
