it's nearly all Andrew solo on the piano, his voice has impurities and he misses some notes as you would expect in demos like this, but the quality is great and the songs are all really cool. Very much demos

Man, Andrew was really on his game in that era. These are so good. It's wild that only song from this set of demos actually made onto Transit.

Love GGFO. Besides their own stuff, they had Smallpools on a remix of a song in the summer that’s also really great.

 

I still like them, but their earlier stuff was definitely much better than now

 

I actually think some of their recent stuff has been some of their best. But I totally get that though. I really wish they’d repress III. I’ve hit them up a few times but never heard back. lol

 

I don't dislike it, but for me it's much more passive listening now and kinda blends together for the most part. The haven't made anything as good as Say It All, Take It Or Leave It or Already Love in a very long time
