I'm digging the majority of this for sure, but it definitely feels like a "leftovers" album to me. Every track feels like it has something clunky about it, and they didn't polish them as much as with the main album songs.

Weird forcing of lyrics/syllables to fit the melodies, awkward transitions between parts, feeling like some sections were duplicated just for the sake of giving both guys something to do, etc. All things they just could have tweaked a bit more.

That said, still really happy we're hearing all of these tracks. There are lots of cool ideas and catchy melodies, and every song is at least decent as a whole.

ONE NIGHT STAND is the definition of b-side, only one I'm not crazy about.

One Night Stand finally uses that acoustic riff from the old Untitled house recordings

TAKE ME IN is solid but those bridges at the end kind of throwing me off

I agree I think these are true B sides for the most part and they just didn't spend as much time crafting them compared to the main album.

Can’t Go Back and Every Other Weekend are the two i’ll probably return to the most and the ones that feel like they could be on the actual album. I really like bits and pieces of the rest.

Honestly the slight clunkiness of the transitions and some of the vocal melodies are my only real complaints. I like pretty much all of these songs as a whole.

This one is similar to the one of him on the steps in the doc, but that one was first used in the chorus of A Little’s Enough.

The only song I really don’t like is No Fun…go figure. There’s also a lot of Nine influence here which I love.

If this was not blink-182 with Tom releasing these I can't imagine I'd return much, but I don't know man, I just like hearing the 3 of them writing music again and will continue to enjoy the ride however long it continues.

A lot of this feels like leftover ideas and fairly clunky which is fine because that is what they are, and I feel like lyrically the majority of this was slapped together in minutes, but .... I don't hate it.

Every other weekend and one night stand are the vibes I’m looking for!

wow Can’t Go Back is so nice, the dreamy vibes really hit. glad I pretty much tuned out the rollout for this because I pretty much just got surprised with 8 new songs

Yeah Every Other Weekend is the winner of the bunch for me.

Can't Go Back is also a really nice vibe, the little piano keys leading into the chorus is so simple but so nice. Grand piano just always fits in blinks sound. It might just be a me thing since I haven't seen anyone else mention it, but I feel like the little guitar riff at the end feels kind of.. aimless? Not really sure how to better describe it lol

Everyone Everywhere is strange but I like it. The transition from verse to chorus still feels quite jarring. I really like the bridge though, I like blink just being weird!

One Night Stand, something about Marks verse I just don't like... I like the chorus despite being a bit of a retread of Always' with the same chord progression and similar fast hihat drumbeat. My favorite part was the ending with all the vocal layers, obv reminiscent of Feeling This' ending

quite enjoyed If You Never Left more than I thought I would based on the preview, particularly love the prechorus

I generally enjoyed it all but do feel a lot of it is underbaked. Either way I can't wait to do the classic "make my own OTM tracklist by mixing the main album and deluxe album songs" like I did with California

One Night Stand and Every Other Weekend ( Along with Blink Wave ) are easily some of the best songs since Untitled. EASILY.

Take Me In on the other hand, one of the worst. Same bag with Childhood.

    Rest is fine.

the chorus to One Night Stand is soo clunky lol. sounds like Tom is making it up on the spot

definitely getting some Hungover You vibes, but less good

Are we listening to same song lol….the chorus is perfect and the end of the song with all those overlapping vocals is just cherry on the top.

Depends on preference I guess. One Night Stand is definition of perfect blink to me.

Being nitpicky here but anyone else feel the song titles on most of OMT and this are too generic? Most are just phrases and don't stand out as much as previous ones like Asthenia, Waggy, Natives, Stockholm Syndrome, Dumpweed, etc etc

Find most of these new songs kind of boring sadly. They are fine but didn't come away wanting to listen to any of them on repeat

That's how I view Angels And Airwaves... If it wasn't Tom who was the singer in the band then I wouldn't really be into AvA (or really tried them at all) that being said, I do like how the Rubin brothers have helped Tom out with his music.

He was really stuck in a rut during the L)VE era.

Yeah, I can't get into these new songs as much as I want to. There's some decent parts, but I dunno. As a whole the songs just aren't that good. It just feels like they were thrown together quickly and could use more work and crafting. They need that 4th man producer, in my opinion.
