I only know blues brothers lore from being a universal studios person so I should check it out

 

A classic.

 

The Idea of You is fun and the fake boyband songs are solid

 

Morbid curiosity got the best of me and Unfrosted is uniquely awful.

 

But at least it's unique!

 

The animation in Tales Of The Empire is gorgeous. There are some wide shots that legit look like they could be live action.

 

Watched Everybody Wants Some based on the hype past few days, and it was just okay? Seemed very dated and only chuckled a few times. Much prefer something like Wet Hot.

 

If you like Wet Hot American Summer, you'd probably enjoy Theater Camp as well. It's less absurd, but still really funny, and also takes place at a camp (obviously.)

 

Theater Camp was great, love Molly Gordon.

 

Everybody Wants Some and Wet Hot are very different movies for very different vibes.

 

tbh I can understand not really being into Everybody Wants Some if you haven't already seen/liked Dazed.

I don't get why Linklater didn't just make Blake Jenner's character the freshman kid from Dazed and just make it a straight up sequel instead of a "spiritual sequel". The timeline would make sense.

 

I guess if you went into it thinking it would be like wet hot you wouldn’t like it but I have no idea why someone would think that?

Baby Reindeer is bonkers, oh my goodness. What an anxious show

 

On s3 of The Crown. Love the new cast but definitely gonna miss Vanessa and Matt

 

This is my favorite season. The portrayals of both Harold Wilson and Lord Mountbatten kind of made this season for me. Jason Watkins as Wilson was my favorite PM performance in this series.

 

This John Mulaney live show is not great, but I can’t really look away.

It strangely reminds me a slightly less bonkers Chris Gethard Show

 

If anybody, like me, was completely blown away by Jessica Gunning's performance in Baby Reindeer, she also has a slightly smaller and more comedic role in the show Back that aired on Channel 4 for two seasons. Very cool to see the two different sides of her. She was hilarious on that show and Baby Reindeer really cemented her as a powerhouse for me, hope she gets more and more work

And now I'm gonna go through everything I can find with her in it haha

 

I suppose good is technically not great.

 

We couldnt get more than 10 minutes into the first episode before we shut it off. Both of us were like 'awful' - does it get better ??
