I hope my secret song in Hamburg is a cover of Up & Go with Hayley Williams

Fans already spotted what looks like the TTPD logo on a railing, so everyone's convinced it's getting it's own set section instead of just secret songs

    Regular

Not sure if this was shared but this goes hard

there's a non-zero chance she takes that clip from the title track where she says "straight from The Tortured Poets Department" and puts it in her Miss Americana intro (bonus points for the name drop in Clara Bow)

I saw video on TikTok about The Black Dog owner hinting that Joe Alwyn is a 'regular' at that pub, and the top comment was "If she can never walk Corenlia Street again, he shall never go back to The Black Dog". :crylaugh::skull:

After buying too many Midnights variants and regretting it, I wavered on which TTPD I wanted. After initially thinking I'd just pick up the regular one at a later time (because I like having the *proper* cover cause I'm weird), I later decided I wanted The Black Dog variant and of course it's the only one locally that's impossible to find.

Will end up just ordering it if one of my stores doesn't get stock back in the coming days.

EDIT: Literally checked seconds after posting this and one of my locals got a couple copies of all the variants this morning. Have a Black Dog on hold!

One full week since TTPD's been released and it looks like The Starting Line's monthly Spotify listeners has increased by 50,000. That's a little more than a 10% increase. Pretty cool for a band that hasn't released an album in 17 years!

So Long, London is a great song overall, but it truly shines when you can listen on a system with a good subwoofer. The pulsing bass on the track is wild

Listened to the second album and loved it. Still can't believe Aaron Dessner is in the regular Taylor collaborator lineup. I think the best thing she has done in recent years is bringing in juggernauts within their genre as collaborators and cowriters. I hope she keeps doing it with new people every 3-5 years. Also a relisten to the second Big Red Machine record is worth it. I went back yesterday and hear so many musical and production parallels to the songs Aaron is on.

The warbly guitar line that runs through Fresh Out The Slammer feels so 90s rock to me, I can picture some tattooed white dude on the beach playing his guitar thinking he looks so cool.

    Just me?

IMG_6249.jpeg Rewatching the Fortnite video which has major 1975 vibes. Did anyone else call out that the typewriter has no “1”, just a backspace key? (Which obviously makes no sense on a typewriter.)

More than anything, it entirely depends on what he says and how the music sounds on the first single. If they do another BFIAFL concise “1975 at their very best” down the middle synthy pop song, and there’s even an allusion to *gestures wildly* all this, yeah it’s a guarantee.

Most typewriters don’t have a “1” key, it’s not Taylor Swift specific. People used lower case “L” instead on typewriters
