I made gingerbread cookies and I remember why I never bake lol my kitchen is awful. I have one little bit of countertop so I’m trying to roll out the dough. Then one batch is done but I only have that little bit of countertop so I have no where to let the cookies cool so it just is an absolute nightmare. Then I’m trying to move the cookies while they are still warm just to free up space so then the cookies are breaking off on the little gingerbread arms. They taste great but good god they are a disaster lol my oven is also older than me so even though I made sure all the cookies were the same thickness they were all baking different even on the same tray. No more baking from now on lol

  2. Websites that email you a code to login even though you have an account and password.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

My work recently moved to a new HR platform that does exactly this. I sign in and then get texted a six-digit code for additional security

Kind of annoying. But I mean, if it means my account is more secure, then fine I guess?

I dont have a code emailed to me at work, but I do have the Microsoft authenticator app pop up on my phone and it asks me to type a 2 digit number that appears on my laptop screen for certain things

  6. I don't mind 2FA/MFA and use it everywhere I can and recommend that everyone does. I was just referring to sites that rather than ask for the password that I have, they email me a code. I guess it'd be less annoying if I didn't utilize a password manager but it's like, I already have the password on my clipboard, I'd rather not have to open my email just to log in.
