Eh, Fuck it. I’m gonna watch it. I hate being on call on the weekends. It just enables the worst of humanity into thinking the world does revolve around them. But I assure you nothing, NOTHING, people call about is urgent. Every single call can wait until Monday.

I really enjoyed it exactly like I said. Truly didn't think what I posted would ruin anything for anyone, and spoiler tagged it as soon as someone mentioned it might.

    Barbarian was so great

I liked Keith by the time he died and was really sad he died for a while but then I remembered he just absolutely refused to believe Tess when she was so scared and freaked out until he saw it for himself and then I was just like well thats what happens bro

  5. My friends just showed me Rocky Horror Picture Show and it is incredible

  6. Rewatched Martyrs (2008), and it's still an all-timer. Just as shocking, ugly, and beautiful as I remember it.

Pretty weird there isn’t a Barbarian thread. So, I guess I haven’t missed much discussion since people didn’t want to spoil it for anyone.

I liked it. I was expecting something more in terms of the reveal based on all the hype. I was expecting something wild at a 10 out of 10 possibility. But I’d probably put it at like a 6 in the context of how insane it got. None of that speaks to the quality of the movie or anything. It’s still a good movie for me. I just had to kind of reign in my expectations halfway through.

Watched the first entry in Cabinet of Curiosities and loved it. Very excited for the rest of these

I’m so bummed that all the Pearl merch is sold out. Does A24 restock stuff often?

Just finished Censor, didn’t really do a lot for me. Might do Halloween Ends or Spree tonight

  20. Double featured Deadstream and Watcher last night. Big ups to the thread for recommending, really dug both

Today, I finished the 101 Scariest Horror Movie Moments and thought they nailed the top 10.

Needed a palate cleanser and did My Best Friend’s Exorcism. Enjoyed it way more than I would have though. Some genuine laugh out loud moments.

  22. Finished Cabinet of Curiosities. Solid anthology overall. I really hope we get more.

Favorites were The Autopsy and Pickman's Model. The Outside was probably my least favorite but still worth watching. Such a cool crop of directors GDT got for these.

  23. Did Sissy tonight. The flashback stuff got old really fast, otherwise a pretty fun movie. Didn’t expect some of the gore to be as intense as it was, but love that they took it there a couple of times

happy Halloween horror gang! it's raining buckets with nearly gale-force winds where I am, I hope the rest of you are blessed with equally spooky weather

just burning through my Shudder watchlist today because clearly I have nothing better to do. first was Hell House LLC (decent, but not nearly as scary as I'd always heard, or maybe I just wasn't feeling it). next up is Deadstream
