Haha, yup. I was watching an episode last night and thinking this isn't necessarily a good show, but it's entertaining in a SoA or Ray Donovan way.

I'm like 4 or 5 episodes into the latest season of Jack Ryan and have no idea what's going on. Maybe it's not even real and I'm dreaming of watching this because it's so boring.

 

I’ll probably go into the thread when I finish the movie but god the new knives out makes me happy

It’s so stupid. I watched the last 4 episodes half paying attention.

Just finished 28 Days Haunted on Netflix

Absolutely insane show

 

Been on my list since it came out but didn’t know if it would actually be worth it or terrible. I assume you recommend it?

 

I definitely would recommend.

Just know that it being reality TV there are definitely some annoying and cringe parts at times but nothing to crazy imo

 

"Binged" Don't Answer The Phone - that MA cop was such a dumbass how he handled the situation when went down to FL.

 

Yeah he pretty much had the guy, but blew his load way too early doing interrogation and put all his cards down on the table before he had a solid case.

 

Just finished Athena on Netflix. Incredible. It opens with what I'm pretty sure is one of the greatest one-takes I've ever seen. The movie's dedication to set piece filmmaking may come at the expense of fully engaging with its themes, but I found it to be riveting nonetheless and one of the more memorable first time watches in recent memory.

 

Watching Mr. Show for the first time on HBO Max. I also watched The State for the first time on Paramount+ earlier this year. Feels weird getting into classic alt comedy at 34 lol.

 

Holy shit - finally watched Dune. Slog.

 

Yeah dune did absolutely nothing for me

 

Better than black Adam though lol

 

I think Dune was a technical masterpiece. But I was very bored.

Black Adam was kind of your average comic book film. But I liked it.
