not a fan of Burnham at all

Bo is great

 

no way is he in the tops of all time... but he's very funny in terms of modern comedy.

 

i just don't think comedy songs are very funny anymore. i highly prefer just standard standup.

 

comedy songs are definitely a tough medium because they have to be funny but also catchy, that's why I'm always glad when Tenacious D or Flight of the Conchords etc can do both

 

but even them, i have to be in the right mood to sit through an album. and that mood rarely comes. i can watch the FOTC tv show anytime, but albums, not so much.

 

There's no doubt in my mind Bo is one of the most talented entertainers ever.

 

Love Bo. What. is perfect.

 

You guys all see Zach Stone is Gonna Be Famous? A fantastic season of television, Bo is just a really talented writer in a lot of mediums.

Best guy to break out from youtube for sure.

 

I like Bo, he was great live, but I'd never sit down and watch or listen to his comedy song album or whatever

 

Oh, I listen to bits from Words and What all the time. One of the few comedians I left in my iPod library to come up on shuffle.

Not a huge fan of Zach Stone though. It was pretty funny, but the main character was very grating and didn't really change.

 

He was alright in Yo Teach!

 

He's so much more than "comedy songs." That really downplays how artistic and introspective his sets can be.

I also loved Zach Stone a lot, I even bought the DVD

 

Just realized 4/20's coming up and that might mean a third annual 4/20 edition of i4h. Fingers crossed as hell.

 

Booked some shows for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Not many international acts announced by the looks of it yet:

Jonathan Pie - British political comedian
Puddles Pitty Party (International)
Burnistoun (Scottish sketch show)
Darren Connell (Scottish comedian)

Feel like the odds of a Silicon Valley Pcast 2 this week are pretty high

Yeah, I love his standup and his new one was great. Really wish he put more focus on that than his show

 

Haven't watched yet, but the ad I saw for it was a bit he did when I saw him like 3 years ago. Hopefully it's not all that set.

 

Still working my way through Entourageathon and Gil is really starting to lose it in the middle of season 3. I'm so glad Benny Schwaz showed up at like four in the fucking morning.


Schwaz is currently directing Gil's opening credit dancing while Tommy the porn star laughs and Gemberling is passed out on the couch. This is the greatest thing ever filmed.

 

To be fair this is his first special since 2011
