Historically, she has always made the album I needed to hear at that point in my life. Here's to hoping the trend holds!

I didn't like 1989 so as long as it's not like that we're probs good. I don't really have a big preference of what she does tho. She usually does something different so I'm not worried about it. Reach for the stars or whatever

 

I will reiterate that she should do a pop punk album, she loves FOB and Paramore

 

I just recently heard all of her albums.

 

Still pulling for an arena rock album but I absolutely love her last three so whatever she does is probably fine.

 

would love if she made a whole album of songs that sounded like "state of grace" but the chances of that happening are not v likely which is coo

 

I like state of grace the song but her vocals on it really hit a nerve. She sounds super shrill on it to me. She sings in this certain range or whatever sometimes that gives me a headache cause it's like piercing. Usually i don't mind her voice tho

 

Damn I kinda feel like she totally does that soaring U2-esque soaring vocals thing really well on that song but I could see why you might think it's not super pleasant b/c that's me with her on Bad Blood

 

Tbh I think my ears are like sensitive and weirdly interprets things as shrill cause there's lots of songs or artists where nobody else seems bothered and it's like piercing my eardrums. I still love that song but when Red came out I'd get legit headaches listening to her vocals on some songs lol and I'd have to pop ibuprofen afterwards. Still my fave album of hers tho!

I got over it eventually and now it's fine! But yeah it's weird lol. I loved the album tho so I didn't mind! I'm trying to think of other songs that are super shrill to me but I'm blanking! I still love state of grace sonically tho and I'd love her to go in that vein, or in the vein of most things from Red
