How are you guys shitting on this? Blink 182 AND WU TANG CLAN on the same bill! I wish I could go to this.

And whatever your opinions are of Linkin Park, it sounds like they put on a great live show (I havent seen them since 2002).

 

Well there has been some talk of them doing possible club shows for fun.

 

Oh yea I haven't been keeping up, but still I wouldn't read much more into these shows as anything other than them doing something for fun. I'm sure it's fun for the band to play to a massive crowd in baseball stadiums, with another band they've probably become friends with over the years, or at least have respect for.

Hardly any comments about the Funny or Die reveal? That video was awesome. haha. Matt didn't have much to say but he was petting the dude's hair at one point. I got a good laugh out of that.

I'm still trying to confirm but anyone remember the girl from Gold Coast/Brisbane Australia who's Angels & Airwaves covers went semi viral amongst the blink community Amy Cushway bout 5yrs ago. (May have only been in the Australian blink community) got a lot of shares on my facey etc.and had some video asking Tom to do something with her regarding Macbeth can't recall what

I'm 99% she's now doing really well with her original material as Amy Shark and her song Adore charted really well and came #2 in the triple j hottest 100 (biggest fan voted song poll in the world) and hot picked up by US distributors

(Disclaimer: I don't really like the song and was stoked Flume beat her to no1)

 

So.. prediction as to when Cali DLX will leak in full?

 

I hope it doesn't or I'll be avoiding this place until I have it lol

Wish they would just release the second disc as an ep for those of us who already own the original.

I saw them live in 2014 with 30STM and AFI and I gotta say, they put on a really good live show. The lead singer's voice is starting to deteriorate so obviously that may change but they have some good energy and creativity. Their live song mashups are pretty neat.

 

Not even tom remembers that.

Yeah. I want to form my own opinion. That and I got busted for torrents and whatnot before not going through that again (thanks JEW!). Now if my copy shows up early like it did for OGCALIFORNIA believe I'll pop it in that second

The show tonight was on point. After their encore they had a fan from the audience play drums on"Always". It was fantastic - no "A New Hope" though.

 

A blink/Linkin Park tour would have been huge for me in 2008. Haven't been into anything LP has put out since Minutes to Midnight though. kind of weird they're playing shows together now but I'm tempted to pay to see that just to make middle school me happy, if they end up expanding it and adding more shows.

What are the odds blink changes their setlist this summer? Seems like we ask that question a lot in this thread and they end up sticking with the greatest hits. Makes sense why they do, but hoping for a few surprises to make seeing them again worth it.
