I actually think this is the current most likely outcome. But, I could see it going back to the House and a bunch of people caving too.

Well, I do think the singing was tone deaf. It isn't a good look. It doesn't portray confidence, in my mind.

 

GOP passes this and there's a race to who can slam the Democrats the most on leftist twitter first, so things are definitely going about like that mushroom cloud.

Someone definitely argued with me about that email server in the last thread, but I think it was one of the libertarians.

So at what point do some solid blue states start coming up with their own single payer systems? Wasn't Colorado trying that? I feel like the entire West Coast could pull that off.

 

California had a bill make it past committee last week. They're maybe the one state I feel like has the population and tax base to maybe pull it off. I'm still skeptical of state single payers tho.

 

Leftist Twitter is indeed as always the best metric for the future of the country

 

I know of at least three groups here in Oregon, we're working on it.

 

California is working on it currently. It seems most feasible with them, given that they are the seventh largest economy and can negotiate prices, etc. But, for smaller states, it won't work.

 

As leftist twitter goes, so goes the country.

 

Pretty funny self-own, but that aside, it's not a bad metric for what the fights look like for enthusiasm around specific things. I've been able to pretty well predict some outcomes off it so far.
