It's so absurd that this is going to pass the House. That just makes it one step closer. Is it safe to say if it gets to the Senate that it will eventually pass?

I think you need to think of the Russian hacking less as a "bad hack" and more as a "good hack, i.e. Endorsement".

  6. It's going to take a decade to even get us back to the shitty center we were at a year ago.

  7. Yes, Putin endorsed Trump. Bad. Obama endorsed Macron. Good.

First time seeing my condition on one of these, figured it was coming. Not that it was any better if I wasn't affected myself.

To be fair (and I don't really want to be haha), it doesn't necessarily mean that insurance companies in your area WILL deny coverage for those conditions, but rather that they could. It would be entirely possible for insurers in one part of a state to do so, but not do so in another part of a state or in a different state. Obviously the more expensive ones tended to get dropped the most.

I know people with pre-existing conditions are a lot worse off if this passes than people like me who barely have a medical record to speak of but it just occurred to me that if AHCA becomes law, I'm never going to be able to seek treatment for depression because I don't want my insurance costs to skyrocket and I know I'm not the only one. How much worse will mental health care get with a law that actively discourages seeking treatment?

Paul Ryan leaving out that that one insurer in Iowa is responding to the complete instability being caused by Trump Admin's waivering on CSRs...

If I were an elected member of congress right now, I'd risk censure and scream "You lie!" at Paul Ryan as he spouts his bullshit.

If fucking Joe Wilson can do it, I can do it.
