Started the Tomb Raider reboot again. Played it on PS3 the last time, but the sale price on PS4 a week or two ago was too good to pass up

he played mid in Smite during the xbox season and he was why I loved mid so much.

It also was great to wake up every morning and watch a little bit of his stream before I go to work. I'm v sad about this :(

 

I get what you're saying, but that's not how it works. Sequels to games that did well and were received well almost always do considerably better than new IPs. This data is out there. Companies like Sony are all about building strong IPs that last a while. Plus, there are other costs and problems associated with building a new brand beyond the risk of lower sales (one of the main reasons why the new Prey is called Prey is simply because they had the trademark). Calling a game Bloodborne 2 that is only vaguely like Bloodborne might sound lame to you and some others, but most people don't go that deep. They see the word "Bloodborne", they have a positive association with it and they go for it.

Still might not actualy be what they are working on of course. It could be From has no interest and Sony is not quite ready to let someone else tackle it.

Since Andromeda is out I wonder what Bioware's next release is.

 

They have announced a game that vaguely sounds like a Destiny-like. The "next traditional Bioware" game is probably another Dragon Age. Also, Mass Effect DLC.

 

I just want KOTOR 3 from Bioware so bad

 

Yeah, but sadly I doubt that is in the cards. Bioware's own IPs (which of course technically aren't theirs) are probably too strong for them to switch to Star Wars. EA has enough studios that do not have Dragon Age and Mass Effect in their portfolio for that.

 

Yeah I'm unfortunately not expecting it any time soon/ever, but I can dream haha

 

I want a 2017 release date for God of War. Also for the Spider-Man game to get a better costume.

Most of my dream announcements have already happened though, not even sure what to hope for anymore, haha. New Rayman I guess.

 

I really just want concrete dates for things like Shenmue 3, KH3, Psychonauts 2, FFVII Remake, etc.

Yeah I'd love some dates for those as well. Hopefully we'll at least get some info on how/when FFVII will start coming out soon.

 

I just really want Sony to show some God of War footage that doesn't look like a clunky, not-fluid-at-all shell of the game's former self. As a fan from day one of the franchise, that demo last year was tough to watch. The camera angle alone was enough to completely repulse me.
