He was my favorite prospect coming out of high school. His talent for a guy his size is insane, I would've picked him over a lot of that second half.

Basically all the underperforming kids from UT that leave way too early end up being good NBA players. Turner, Cory Joseph, Avery Bradley, DJ Augustin etc.

I went to every single one last year, but they jacked up the prices an insane amount this year. Having said that... I bought tickets to games 1 & 2, ha!

I get traumatic flashbacks from watching Augustin play. He's been alright on some teams, but he was garbage for the Pacers lmao

 

Hahah. Have fun. I will not be. I plan on sinking all my income into Preds games if they advance through the NHL playoffs.

 

Durant won Player of the Year. He doesn't fit the archetype. All those guys I listed were either not great in college or just had sub-par years. Bradley and Joseph in particular were nowhere near NBA-ready when they got drafted. Which is why they sucked their first few years in the league.

 

Didn't realize that's what you were going for, I dont think August in was ever really legit outside that stretch for thibs. He was a garbage points guy for charlotte early on when I thought he might be good but it wasn't true, meh.

 

Playoff sports-ball has a direct line to my bank account, I have no restraint so I feel you. I guess I'll have to settle for a World Series bound Braves game then to get my Yates fix.
