I feel like Beach Slang's still doing well. They toured with Minus the Bear and are out with Jimmy Eat World right now.

Hmm. This would be an interesting tour to see attendance. Two bands that sorely need their fanbases back.

 

I have a feeling Ghost Bath won't go over well with most of the crowd, haha. They're the odd band out on this. I love them though and wish this tour was coming around here.

 

Good lord, that Decapitated/Thy Art tour tho!

I predicted Decapitated coming to America around the summer time and look-y here lol

 

Just listened to Ghost Bath. What the hell did I just hear? haha

 

Instrumental's good. Vocals...not so much.

 

Ghost Bath is by far the best band on that bill...and Decapitated aren't too shabby either though. With that being said, I have no desire to drive out to Joliet for those two bands alone.

 

i'm not that big on them anymore.. but they bring out killer lineups, and usually come here, asking alexandria. they have been announced for a few fest in the late summer. i honestly wonder if ADTR would take them out?

 

The vocals sound like the singer is getting dismembered. Also, I don't understand why bands like this and Deafheaven mix down the vocals where you can barely hear them.

 

ghost bath is good but i still feel weird that the band pretended to be like from china for a while but they're actually from north dakota

 

Then again, I wouldn't be too thrilled to say I'm from North Dakota either haha.

 

yeah but using all the chinese characters, it sort of feels like using the culture for their own benefit. pretty shitty

 

Idk the story but did they flat out say they were from China or just posted things in Mandarin?

It looks like it started off as a joke and then they ran with it. Kinda odd but it's different.

 

I'm stoked for this Decapitation/TAIM tour. Probably gonna hit up the Grand Rapids date. I'm not sure how to feel about Ghost Bath. A depressing atmospheric black metal band seems out of place on a death metal/deathcore tour. In terms of Nuclear Blast bands that would've fit better I'd go for Aversions Crown or Belphegor.

 

Is there some sort of trick to this? Every show that is on my local list I go to it and there are no $20 tickets. No way Third Eye
Blind sold through all $20 tickets. Unless the amount was really limited.

 

There probably were just limited amounts. I was able to get $20 tickets to Rancid and All Time Low.

 

Yea I noticed a couple like that, but a lot also have the $20. I think that it's probably more of an issue at shows where the cheapest section is seated (as opposed to general admission lawns and what not).
