  1. i doubt they'll play any deluxe songs live. maaaaaaaaaaaybe one or two, and probably during the California full album shows that are rumored to be happening.

  2. weren't those supposed to be in January? Has there been any word about that since I heard about it in november-ish?

  3. I think they have 2 nights in some club or something in California soon, but there's been no word of a full California album show happening since that one interview they did awhile back, so who knows?

  4. Club shows should be 90/10 b-sides and deep cuts vs singles IMO.

Yeah I'd love for them to do a tour and not play any of their singles or overplayed tour songs (Violence, Carousel). I know it would never happen but I'd love to hear songs they rarely played or never played. A club tour would probably be the only way they could do it though.

  6. Yeah and making it a club show and not even promoting it that much gives us weirdo die-hards less competition for those shows. I love what NFG has done with their 20th anniversary shows. They're literally playing their ENTIRE catalogue. So rad.

Yeah I'd love for blink to do something like that but can't see it ever happening. For whatever reason the band is content with just playing their greatest hits set list with new songs substituted in. But yeah I'd love for them to play the older stuff just so I can say "Yeah I've seen blink play (insert whatever song)".

  9. If they'd just rotate "21 Days" and "Apple Shampoo" back and forth for 90 minutes, I'd be fine with that. Or just play "21 Days" but with an ~86 minute outro.

Hahhaa. I'll never get your love for 21 days. It actually reminds me heaps of musically of an Australian band called Jebediah. You should check Slightly Odway the album specifically the first 5 songs and then teflon and fall down

Except with me you'd need to say it like you were Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter

  12. i've heard the band before, but i will check out that those songs you mentioned. i just think "21 Days" would killllll in a live setting.

I know it's 100% not gonna happen but it would be so tight to hear 'A New Hope' this Thursday (Star Wars day) in Orlando. A themed poster is more likely if anything.

21 Days is fucking awesome. The intro and outro riffs are killer. (Also Tom actually managed to write a song with like a minute long intro without using any beeps or space noises!)

*Late opinion* In my opinion 6/8 is the best post-tom blink song. So awesome. Chorus vocal melody... Love it. Also regarding lyrics... Sure it's not Jawbreaker or Brand New or Front Bottoms, but come on... There is no need for blink to write complex metaphors, it's not within their concept I'd say. Long story short: Great, great song that makes me feel something. And for 27 yr old guy, to feel something because of the rock song is a huge win.

What genre is suppose to make 27+ year olds feel something if rock won't?

even though i love dude ranch, I'm okay with the fact they only play 1-2 songs from it every tour. I just wish they'd change up the untitled songs chosen for tour. They did a good job of mixing in more enema last year and even now throwing anthem 2 back into the set. I'd love to see stockholm or even go over violence over and over and over.

I'm usually not one to complain about setlists, but after I saw what they were playing on this most recent tour, it made me less upset that I had to miss them. After the reunion in 2009, it seemed like a greatest hits set was the obvious choice since it had been so long (same with the next few tours). Now, they tour so much that I can see them twice in a year so I'd prefer that the setlists differ just a little more.

  23. I'll be honest, I complained about the setlist being mostly singles before I saw them last year. And then, when I was actually at the show, it didn't fucking matter. It was a blast. Even All The Small Things, with thousands of people singing along, was super fun.

Yeah, I even enjoyed First Date. Getting San Diego, M&M's and Dysentery Gary at my show was more than enough to feel I got my money's worth honestly. Plus when was the last time I saw their singles live where the guy stage-right was actually trying his best? Lol
