Even someone who weighs 120 pounds jumping that high directly on your chest is going to fuck you up. In reality, Finn's finisher is probably one of the most believably painful moves to take in WWE.

 

I agree, but I guess I think, "okay you lose your breath, but can't kick out of a three count? That makes you unable to respond and raise your arm?"

I think my issue with it is that moves that should be treated like finishers aren't any longer. Everything has to be bigger and crazier - that's why I love that Bliss uses a DDT as a finisher (same for Ambrose) - because that should finish you. But after years of power slams, giant slams, strongest man slams, running slams that rarely if ever work seeing Finn's CdG doesn't comprehend to me.

Again, I think we should do a clinical test study in which I preform the Coup de Grace on you and we'll see if you can then kick out of a pin. We can film it for everyone on Chorus. I weigh roughly the same as Finn, and am just as good looking, so the simulation will be very, very close to reality.

Seth Rollins has about 6 moves he uses on a regular to quasi-regular basis that should work as finishers (Superplex to Falcon Arrow combo, Frog Splash, Phoenix Splash, Avada Kedavra, Pedigree, Rainmaker 2.0). There are probably two other moves of his that could work in there that I'm just forgetting, too. Same goes for KO's frog splash, but x249730533.

 

Agreed completely on KO's frog splash. That should finish regular TV matches, with PPV finishes being the powerbomb.

Rollins frog splash is right there with Blue Thunder Bomb and Deep Six as beautiful signatures that should finish like, 10% of the time just to keep em believable.

Superplex to Falcon Arrow should be a damn super finisher

 

Yeah, the Falcon Arrow alone works as a finisher. The fact that the Superplex to Falcon Arrow combo has never, to my knowledge, finished a match is beyond asinine.

Came here to complain about the superplex/falcon arrow not being his finisher. Glad I'm not the only one really annoyed by that.

 

When I first saw the blue thunder I thought that was the most beautiful move I've ever seen, definitely finisher worthy

Best Raw in a long time, even Heath/Crews was a great little match. Probably the best PPV-Raw combo since the split.
