Reading the comments on the Strowman / Reigns match (on YouTube) is hilarious and terrifying. The amount of people that feel Roman's injuries are real and how brave he is for fighting just really weirds me out.

The only reason this interests me if for more @Billy on Marty and Sarah.

 

Looking at the Fozzy tour, he's only gonna miss Backlash for sure. He's got 2 UK dates the week before MITB, but, its very believable that he could do the rest of the build.

So we might only miss a month or so of Jericho here

 

No lie though, imagine how awesome wrestling has to be if you think it's totally real??

Like Roman getting murdered a bunch, or the House of Horrors stuff. If I watched that and thought it was real I would be calling everyone I knew like "WHY ISN'T EVERYONE ON EARTH WATCHING THIS"

 

I mean that was pretty much how I felt as a kid watching in the late 90s. Exactly how I felt actually haha.

 

I actually didn't get into wrestling until I was 12, the first show I ever saw was Vengeance 2003. By that time I had heard it was fake from so many people that I was basically a smark in a child's body going "LOL LOOK THE PUNCHES AREN'T EVEN HITTING HIM HAHA". But then I realized I wasn't cool but wrestling was and here I am talking about it on a web forum at the tender age of 26.

 

Man, I desperately wanted a car chase to the arena during the house of horrors match, Bray in the limo, Randy on the tractor with occasional live looks in during the Rollins/Joe match

 

not all. a lot are like that 30 year-old cat lady who wrote a petition to WWE to get Braun fired after the ambulance attack.

 

as a kid (5-6 or so, probably even up until 9 or 10, who knows) i thought it was. also though The Undertaker's powers were real. i vividly remember a group of friends at a birthday party putting each other in Sharp Shooters and Figure 4's seeing how long each of us could last before screaming for mercy. all of us completely in the dark about everything being staged for entertainment.

 

Around Christmas time this year, I challenged my friend to put me in the figure four to see if I could reverse it, shit hurt.

 

Haha, an old buddy and I would throw ankle locks on each other and scream like Ken Shamrock. That shit always hurt.

 

Just finished Payback, overall a pretty good watch. Just kinda fast forwarded through the HoH match.

I remember wheb people were saying how Kevin Owens had one of the best rookie years on the main roster in recent times, Alexa has had just as an incredible first year on the main roster, and she's still got a couple months left to accomplish more.

 

No doubt, and she had been 0-17 against Bayley prior to that match, while also never having a match at a Takeover while in NXT. So it makes her transformation even crazier, because in a week from now, she'll be 3 years away from her NXT wrestling debut. And in 3 years, have gone from basically nothing to 3x womens champ and first multi-brand womens champ.

Hmm. I wonder, does Jericho do a goodbye on Raw tonight and someone challenges him for the belt and he loses. Or does he just get attacked as a "goodbye" to Raw to build heat for someone. Or does he lose it tomorrow to KO. Or does he keep it while on tour for a month.

 

Watching Payback now. This Orton-Wyatt thing is ridiculous.
