maybe? I certainly don't think winning in the way he did helped his character at all. But I not sure he is more buried because of it. I think WWE realized they needed to give him a PPV win, but they didn't realize he doesn't just need wins he needs to be booked credibly.

 

I think it was a solid C+ ppv. Everything from Jericho until Womens was really really solid (not out of this world but solid). The house of horrors was worse than imagined. Joe/Rollins was heatless, and the ending was just a beat down (which is cool in a way, but after HoH and joe/rollins...not the best way to end a ppv)

 

How was the PPV? Worth watching on my day off tomorrow?

Tag title match was the best of the night for me. And CW's killed it too

 

Tag, CW, and Women's were the only decent points. Although I did have a friend there with zero wrestling experience. So it was fun to smoke and laugh our assess off to the HoH match.

 

Alexa has improved so much.

 

A friend of mine who hasn't watched wrestling in years said he thought Bayley/Alexa "wasn't wrestling" and missed the good days of when Trish and Lita would do actual wrestling moves. I just had to tell him he was wrong

 

Wtf are "actual wrestling moves"

 

If the Hardys are indeed broken now, and Goldust & Truth get their title shot, we have the most entertaining filler feud ever

 

I don't understand what the point of teasing Sasha on the preshow was.

I enjoyed last night a lot more than I expected to, one of the stronger brand-exclusive PPVs since the split. House of Horrors was not even "good" bad though, I don't think anyone came out of last night looking worse than Wyatt. Only real blemish on an otherwise solid show.

 

It's funny because if you listen to Kurt on tij he's literally like that

 

I give this PPV a rating of DELETE

 

I really REALLY enjoyed that Cruiserweight match. Obviously not happy with the finish but it should mean Great Balls of Fire will be lit

 

There is a PPV before Balls.

Extreme Rules def has an ambulance match. Has to.

Gotta give them credit for how they have booked Braun the last couple of months. The biggest Meltz rumor heading in to last night was that, if Braun were to win, it would be a flimsy win that would protect Roman's credibility. Instead, Braun committed homicide. We can argue the whole Roman being in less than 100% kayfabe health, but that was still a crazy decisive win. Gotta wonder if Roman is going to step away for a bit with the passing of his brother, come back in a month or two, and set himself up for a big angle at Summerslam.
