But rumor is they're courting Brandon Beane, the current Panthers assistant GM, and he is the top candidate if the job opens up. I have a feeling Richardson won't let that happen. They've been grooming Beane for years, even during the Hurney era. He is almost guaranteed to takeover after Gettleman.

Not really. Mixon was one incident, Westbrook is at least three over four years time. Mixon also is at least pretending to be remorseful while Westbrook is getting kicked out of interviews.

 

I would say Mixon could really get his shit together but going to Cincinnati ruins that.
