not gonna blame the officiating for the game, but they were calling everything on the caps in the first period (including that super questionable orpik penalty) and then they pocketed their whistles at the end of the game. didn't make any sense.

How I felt as well. His body positioning on the Nielsen goal was so awkward. And for him to play so deep was not a good move.

That said, tavares is in beast mode which will be the main threat to the panthers. I don't see the isles winning a lot of games giving up forty shots.

That save Griess made on Jagr with about 20 seconds left was unreal.

The Sharks managing to win and out Corsi the best even strength team in the league is amazing.

However as a Sharks fan, I expects sadness so I'm preparing myself for the worst.

Hank on the ice for practice. Guy is willing to lose an eye for this team and they still put pylons like girardi out there to defend him. Pathetic management.

That might have been the worst game the Kings have played this season and they still only lost by a goal. Martinez didn't play in the 3rd though and if he is out, the series is over. The Kings blue line is thin enough as it is.

I think Bieksa's playoff experience is valuable, but if he plays like 1st half of the season Bieksa than Theodore should play.

None of this matters when you're going to lose either way

Guy at the donut shop this morning saw my Blues jersey and told me "Go Blues, I'm here from Chicago on business and I can't stand all the bandwagon fans. No one there gave a shit about hockey five years ago."

I gave him a donut out of my baker's dozen before I left. It was a good start to Friday.

Malkin in Saturday. Centering the 3rd line. Glad they're not breaking up hags-bonino-kessel.

I know he's coming back from injury, but Malkin centering the 3rd line is a fucked up sentence.

Yeah I mean it gives them depth but just put him with Crosby already, damn

They just won the cup six years (and also since, obviously) ago so I can't imagine his statement is very accurate about the five years thing....but yeah, go Blues.

Haha he didn't seem like a real keen sports fan, more like a guy making conversation. I was too enamored with his dialogue to correct his sports knowledge or lack thereof.

Question for everyone: On game day if you see opposing fans out and about in gear, do you ever say anything to them? I passed two fully decked out Blackhawks fans on my run and didn't say anything, but I've seen a lot of people posting videos online trolling fans at the arena and on the streets. Thoughts?

I will never skip an opportunity to shout "Go Wings" at an opposing fan in the playoffs.
