  1. I think part of his rise is also people realizing the criticism he was receiving was harsh. He had a quieter season than the year before and it made people search for reasons he'd fail. Everyone started saying he'd be a risky pick "because guys like Bush and Austin didn't make it". I understand those comparisons but McCaffrey is a different player than those guys. I think he is a stronger ball carrier than those two. And people also like to say he isn't a three down back and that he can't handle a full load, but that's exactly what he did at Stanford. He was basically their entire offense. And he faced a lot of stacked boxes and still produced impressively. There just seems to be a lot of misconceptions about him.

I think people forget how good this draft is at rb

  3. The draft is certainly deep at RB but I think there's a decent gap after LF, CMC, Cook.

In the sense that there was a gap after Evans/OBJ/Watkins.

I'd rather have a top receiver than an rb any day if I'm trading up like a maniac lol

  6. haha I guess so. But it's hard to expect any positional class to turn out as loaded as that WR class.

His patience and vision is Bell-like, and I think that's actually a pretty good comp for his ceiling. And given that his floor is a versatile offensive/special teams weapon, I get why his value has rose so much. Like I said I'd prefer him to Fournette just because of his versatility. You're getting a player that can excel at 3 positions.

That's what I figured would be the case if we were to trade up. I agree, we have too many needs to be making moves like that.

The anticipation is killing me. Hoping to not be let down, praying even

  12. So if Trubisky goes #1, I'm assuming SF runs up and takes Garrett at #2.

That'd leave Jags and Jets as the only teams before the Panthers that'd realistically take LF, right?

I think the Jags take either Fournette or Watson. Solomon Thomas would be nice though.

Yeah, if CMC and Savage had a training camp battle who would win

I feel like, even with all the smokescreens, the thing that makes the Browns fans most terrified of the team not picking Garrett is MKC guaranteeing they're picking Garrett.

49ers supposedly have 6 teams interested in trading up right now, three outside top 10, three inside top 10. Not getting my hopes up though.

  23. I'm guessing most will back off if Garrett goes first?

Interest seems to have developed since the report that Browns are taking Garret #1, so idk.

I bet on Trubisky going in the top 6. Even with the Garrett reports I'm still confident someone will trade up
