Lane has been a stud when he's on the field. I think the Eagles did well considering everything else in that Top 10 is SHIT.

 

Lane was absolutely the correct pick. Pissed we got Luke.

I'm a complete mess on who I think Houston will take haha. My mind says they'll take Mahomes but with how my mock looks it's gotta be Watson so on my mock it's Watson but I still think it'll be Mahomes and the moral of the story is I have no clue

 

I'd take him at 6 - I think he's the second best player in the draft, but Maccagnan will probably stay away from him after the diluted sample after all that's gone down with Sheldon Richardson.

I've accepted my board is awful and wrong, half of what I've picked I don't even believe but what I believe for most picks would probably be worse in the end

 

Yeah, I thought about going that route. In my mock, I went in with my thinking that I don't completely buy a lot of the QB talk at the top, given the other talent that's sitting that high. I also didn't make any trades. So I had the QB's going later than most and probably later than what will actually happen.

I mocked Watson to the Giants based on what was available. I think they would be in a position to take Watson and let him wait the way it should be. I then gave Houston Cam Robinson, which I'm sure you aren't thrilled with, given the lack of high-end O-line talent. I went Robinson there in order to help protect Savage and I just feel like someone like Peterman is more Bill's type as opposed to a Watson or Mahomes. You could probably switch those picks around in my mock if you really wanted.

There are lots of QBs I'd take Robinson over so I'm not mad about it. I mean, I don't think it'll happen, and if we draft a QB early still I'm okay with it. It's moreso that if there isn't a QB picked by us in the first 2 rounds I will riot hahaha

 

No. They are taking Garrett at one. They made their choice two weeks ago. They are now calling teams in the top 8 to gauge the price for a trade-up and calling teams below 12 to see what they could net moving out of 12. Sashi made it clear they don't feel desperate to get any one position (QB included) and that he would not be surprised if they walk away with more defensive picks this year because of the overall depth.

McGinn who is pretty clued in has Browns taking Trub at 1, 49ers getting Garrett. Garrett + trade back into first for Kizer and that fifth year option would be my ideal Thursday night.
