LeVeon Bell is probably the only young RB i actually consider a really good pass protector. Most the others coming to mind are old now (Frank Gore, Matt Forte, etc.)

 

Derrick Henry and Tevin Coleman.

I took dj Hayden for some team in the 3rd round and everyone was like wtf lol and then he went that early haha

I was so worried about the Ansah pick back then too

 

It was one of my favorite round 1 picks

I loved the Ansah pick, loved the Hopkins pick, loved the Trufant pick, LAUGHED MY ASS OFF at the Frederick pick, and thought Jonathan Cooper, Eric Reid, and Tavon Austin would be good to great. It's fun to think about how all that played out.

The last 4 drafts your first rounders were CB, DE, QB, and LT. Those seem to be pretty important positions haha.

I mean they weren't all good but still

 

Caldwell isn't Randall so he's messing up there

 

OF THOSE, QB and LT are most important and those two sucked. I love Ramsey, Colvin at CB and I love getting one of the best pass rushers in the draft in round 3 last year. Fowler's struggles are incidental but without that hindsight he was the best available prospect at DE.

 

So I guess you meant that he drafts every position well except the most important ones? If so, I assumed wrong and my bad haha.

Telvin Smith in round 5 is far and away Caldwell's best pick and if he doesn't protect that investment he's an idiot.

 

If the Ravens insist on taking OL in the first round, it better be Forrest Lamp. However, hoping for a front 7 guy to drop to 16 or take Corey Davis.

 

Lane Johnson when he's on the field.

 

ESPN has a good article on Arians and his crazy good ability to make great third round picks. Forgot how many great picks he made as part of the Steelers as well as Cards and Colts.
