The cool thing about FOB is really there's no support that's off limits. I'd like to see them go really out of left field (kind of like Boys of Summer or Zummer or whatever, but just with people a little better than Wiz and Hoodie). Kid Cudi, Carly Rae Jepsen, the 1975, Bleachers, Tegan and Sara, Danny Brown would all be maybe a little weird but also get me pretty excited.

The Chainsmokers' current tour ends 6/10. It will most likely either be a late summer or early fall tour. This seems like a perfect summer amphitheater tour.

Honestly, I think FOB would've been a better pairing with Linkin Park than the proposed LP/Blink tour.

Tour with Paramore was a cool one, I think it'd be cool to bring someone like them, Weezer, even All Time Low or someone on FBR.

Chainsmokers definitely makes sense but no way I would be there lol

Fall Out Boy/The Chainsmokers/All Time Low would be cool.

Pinegrove with Vagabon in Columbus on 7/8. That's such a cool pairing.

Not sure how everyone feels about slam but Visceral Disgorge hinted at a summer tour announcement. REALLY hoping they get on Summer Slaughter.

Chainsmokers are the worst. I wouldn't go within 30 miles of that show.

You probably don't need to be 30 miles away to avoid second hand smoke.

the 1975 would never open for FOB at this point.

    What's your reasoning for that?

The 1975 seem to have gotten bigger than FOB as of late, at most it would be a co-headliner

  20. cricketandclover

    Things have changed.

Fall Out Boy's last album did 2x first week what the 1975 did.

Yea Fall Out Boy is way bigger than the 1975. If Paramore and Wiz Khalifa can open for FOB (technically both co-headliners, but both times FOB always played last), the 1975 can definitely open for FOB. I think the 1975 played a 5,000 cap venue last time they were in Chicago (November) vs. Fall Out Boy who played an 18,000 cap venue.

The 1975 as direct support for Fall Out Boy wouldn't be impossible. Not likely, but they're definitely not bigger than Fall Out Boy anywhere besides maybe the UK. Though The 1975 hasn't done a legitimate support tour since their debut album came out if I recall correctly.

A co-headliner would make sense. That would hit huge venues and sell out instantly.

i don't think it makes sense at all, the 1975 are very particular about their stage setup and show and supporting FOB wouldn't allow them to do it
not to mention that they're hibernating after this summer tour for a while
