Just beat the story though I only have 106 shrines and have so many side missions to go. It was thrilling to be right on the edge of finding the final boss and realize I still had areas in the game I hadn't even seen yet.

 

It says I have "over 50 hours played". Kinda sucks I can't see the exact amount of time it's been, though I would guess around 70. Only 42 shrines completed and two dungeons. About 54 Korok seeds.

 

It's increments of 5 hours. This means you're somewhere between 50 and 55.

 

I finally crossed 100 hours for BotW. I still haven't finished half of the side quests.

 

Oh okay that's not so bad then

 

Haven't been doing many side quests either. It just seems like the payoff is usually not that great.

 

You can also downlod that parental control app on your phone and see the exact number

 

Not getting Morgan Freeman to voice the Great Deku Tree is the single greatest misstep this series has ever made.

 

Meh. There are far worse issues with the voice acting in general than not having Morgan Freeman voicing that tree. The Zora chick is the worst. Zelda and the Goron guy are pretty lame sounding too.

 

I was against voice acting anyway

 

Oh god Zelda's voice is the worst. And I don't even mean for Zelda, but just like, even having a casual conversation with that chick in real life would be unbearable.

That's probably super mean, but I stand by it.

 

King/Tree had the worst voice acting imo.

 

I definitely was too. Because I knew it would turn out like this. Really wish they would have left everyone quiet. Thank God they didn't give Link a voice.

She sounds like such a bratty snob during all those memory sequences. I totally get it.

 

The voice acting could have been great, even just letting us have the Japanese would have been good. That sounded great in the trailer.

 

I just finished the Thunder Helm dungeon. Took me way too many tries.

 

I learned that you have to have signed up for a Nintendo account. I hadn't done that. Sign up, then check profile.

 

I've had the game since launch, and have only done two of the divine beast's and about 60 shrines. I just don't have enough time.

 

This is me. It took me a month to get the first beast done. Then I got the second about a week later. There's so much to do and I have so little time I usually just end up exploring.

 

Same here, except I've only down one beast. About to start the second.

 

Windblight Gannon was a lot easier than the one in zoras domain

 

I legit can't beat the gerudo beast and I feel like a dumbass lol. I just can't wrap my head around that rotating mechanic and getting the electricity to go to the right places. I've also only found one electricity shrine before this so I'm not sure I'm even doing that the right way because I haven't had much practice with it. Really frustrating, I've spent like 4 hours just rotating the beast into different combos, and flying/gliding all around the outside to see if I can bypass any of these puzzles (I did manage to get one of the terminals near the top by just using the gale to fly up there).

 

Same, i just go around looking for shrines and rare horses. I finally got the master sword though.

 

I also struggled, I feel like I got lucky. But I think I had more of a handle on what I needed to do by looking at the map. Look at what level you need to be on, where the terminal is exactly.
