A girl that works for a radio station posted in the Trio FB group page and that Blinks label told her that they are doing a tour with Linkin Park.

 

This would be weird, though 9 year old me would be pretty stoked. What are Linkin Park crowds like nowadays, I feel like the audiences would be so strange for this kind of tour.

 

Honestly I don't think I could pay to see this. I think the crowds would be awful.

 

Hmmm definitely interested in seeing what the majority of the fans think of this song now. People complained about California being too safe so I wonder if people will complain that 6/8 is too experimental.

 

I hope this is announced soon. I'd probably opt for nosebleeds for this tour, though.

 

Sucks for Alkaline's fanbase, if that tour happens and the record blink is supposed to write right after..

Agreed. I saw blink on Sunday night, and I saw Matt walk out of the venue to his personal bus with a body guard. He wouldn't even look up at us standing outside waiting. So strange to me.

I miss Alkaline Trio.

 

As much as i like the productivity, it sucks for that fanbase that one of the members is being held up by other projects.

 

In my mind Trio is over unless otherwise is said. Fuck this lol.

 

Really sucks that Trio put out a great return to form album, and now we won't get a follow-up for a long time/ever

 

It's crazy too, that Alkaline Trio FB group is so damn committed to them. it's active every single day with people sharing stories, posting their covers, stuff they have as memorabilia, etc. It's just got some crazy positive vibes in there. Pretty cool thing to see.

Agreed. As much as I like Blink being so productive I know matt has to eventually work with alkaline again at some point(which I don't mind I like them too). I win either way I guess lol

 

Yeah, that's incredibly weird. Matt is usually so friendly and goes out of his way to talk to everyone.

Pretty similar to how Blink didn't do a proper follow up to Untitled.

 

Yeah I think he's a much bigger person than that. However, it is odd that they haven't kept fans in the loop. Not even a, "we understand it's been awhile. Right now we are gong the some scheduling issues, but we will figure it out" haha.
