If you combined SR&R and AB/AP and trimmed about 10-11 songs (essentially half of each album), you'd have an album that could be among their best.

It's late and I'm burned out on final papers for graduate school, so I'll just waste time with my compilation.

Would probably be the thirteenth song on my list, so just failing to make the cut for me on a 12-song album.

 

Twin Skeletons was on the fringe for me. It was that or The Mighty Fall. Despite the Big Sean feature, it's a strong tune. Twin Skeletons has some stronger moments in parts though, if that makes sense.

 

It does make sense. It's all personal preference anywaysssssss

Listening to Folie on my way to work. "Coffee's For Closers" is a banger and a half.

 

I'm on The (Shipped) Gold Standard. Man, I love this album.

 

I'm not quite ready to revise my "Infinity is FOB GOAT" statement quite yet, but I am open to being persuaded, Folie, I really am.

 

not with "jet pack blues" and "novocaine" it's not

 

It's really insane how much taste can change growing up. When Folie a Deux came out I had just turned 18 two months prior and would have 100% said it was my least favorite Fall Out Boy album by a wide margin. Now 9 years later it's nearly my favorite. Crazy.

 

Folie will never not be my FOB GOAT. IOH is phenomenal but Folie is the most cohesive album

I tried to pick two songs from each full length album they have released and two b-sides as well (I love their B-sides because they almost make another album).

 

Listened to Save Rock & Roll today, still a good album.

Make America Psycho Again is such a strange thing, but it's funny in retrospect, especially considering how much Migos have blown up since this thing came out.

 

i listened to SRR too. Good album.

 

I just discovered Pavlove after all this time. I had no idea it existed. I love that it has an identifiable Folie sound (particularly the harmonies).

 

Probably my favorite B-side. Such a great song, and feels like the bridge between Folie and IOH
