I feel like Anaheim is going to have trouble containing the forward group but they have a better defense. Tough call

Oilers/Ducks is a coin flip to me. Anaheim's deeper at forward but if Nugent-Hopkins' line plays like they did in the first round I could see Edmonton getting the upper hand.

Ducks blue line should be healthy and ready to go by tomorrow night. Kesler's line just needs to do its work on McDavid's line and the depth will take over from there.

Draisaitl has been the x-factor against the Ducks. I'm more concerned with him over McDavid

    Just a friendly reminder

The Ducks and Oilers should be a good, competitive series. I'm expecting a Game 7.

Ducks are 15-0-3 in their last 18 games. I'll take them.

Hence why I put them in the SCF. The definition of on a roll.

    Regular

Ducks were horrible most of the series vs Flames got bailed out by Bryan Elliot shitting himself. (Two games with 1+ xGF deficits) Edmonton is a better team and also playing well. They'll win

Remind me, what happened to Columbus and Minnesota in round one? I don't trust win streaks when it comes to the playoffs.

no way is Edmonton a better team than Anaheim. I'd argue at the most that they equal each other out.

Minnesota was streaking in the opposite direction at the end of the season. They were inevitably a first round exit.

and Columbus was playing a better team in Pittsburgh.

Edmonton proved in that first round that they are not just a one line team.

This Ducks team is better than any of the previous Boudreau teams in Anaheim. The deepest they've been down the middle, strong goaltending (Gibson's way of ahead of his disappointing 2016 playoff experience) and a very mobile defense with Fowler (who should be back game 1) playing some outstanding hockey this season.

The only aspect of their game I did not like in the first one was the PK, which has been near the top all season. If the Ducks can limit their penalties, shore up their PK and don't sit back like SJ did with the lead I like their chances. Just need to set the tone right tomorrow at home.
