I play all of my records. I actually really don't like listening to digital music when I'm at home anymore, my turntable setup sounds so much better (digitally I listen through my TV sound bar and subwoofer via Airplay to Apple TV, which I'm sure isn't the best).

Aside from my aforementioned ImportCDs shipment that showed up today, I also received:

    Millencolin - Pennybridge Pioneers
Balance and Composure - The Things We Think We're Missing
    Joey Bada$$ - B4.DA.$$
    Dikembe - Mediumship
    Donovan Wolfington - Stop Breathing

And very much looking forward to the new Daisyhead record this week.

Always sleeve all your records, sleeves are like 10 cents a piece. If you really care, and can afford it, invest in the MoFi inner sleeves as well. I have probably half of my collection (1100ish) in MoFi's, I'm gradually making my way through cleaning all of them and then putting them in the proper sleeves. It seems sorta dumb to clean them, and then put them back in the paper sleeve. Especially if they're older pressings with even worse paper sleeves than normal.

I listen to most every album I have, usually multiple times. I work at home, and if I want to listen to music, I usually use my turntable. I actually feel stupid spending all this money, just to listen to Spotify at home.

Beginner's question here, when you say sleeve, are you talking about inside the cover, or around the entire cover? I know sometimes I buy records and they have the sleeve on the outside (like a plastic bag basically which holds the entire album - cover included), which I used to think was just more or less a bag, but now I'm realizing it probably actually serves a purpose. Or does sleeve just refer to the (usually) piece of paper that the record itself actually sits in inside the cover. I don't know if that made any sense.

There are two different kinds of sleeves (inner and outer). Each serve different purposes.

I work from home and usually listen to records in the afternoons. During the week, I probably play two or three per day. My collection is small enough still that everything remains in pretty regular rotation with that schedule.

Maybe this is just my OCD coming out, but in addition to having my collection listed in Discogs, I have a spreadsheet where I have a secondary listing of the collection that includes spin counts.

Picked up Thom Yorke's Tomorrow's Modern Boxes at the record store at Coachella and wow it is so beautiful. Such an underrated record

I used to keep up with a spreadsheet + have Discogs and deadformat accounts. Now it's just Discogs and deadformat ha.

Poly outer sleeves. These are a must. Packs of 10 are like 2 bucks. You can find huge packs of 100 for 20 bucks.

MoFi inner sleeves, I also suggest to always use these. (Pack of 50 is 20$)

    Heres my Discogs profile:

I've only been collecting for a couple years now, so my collection is nowhere near where I want it to be especailly with older/classic releases.

Just ordered TBS' "Happiness Is" cuz it was sub $10 on Amazon. Unpopular opinion, but it's probably my favorite of their's, at least top 2.
