Yo I heard sum1 was talking shit about Lucky Number Slevin in this thread

 

It's just a stereotypical style over substance shooter flick but where some films cast James McAvoy or Brie Larson, this one cast Josh Hartnett, who is the Houston Texans Quarterback situation of actors.

 

I've never heard of him which makes the comparison perfect

 

Style over substance? Gimme a break the plot is solid

Totally wrong 1: It's not even a shooter flick. There is literally like less than 60 seconds of guns being fired in that movie.

Totally wrong 2: dont' lead people to think Hartnett is the biggest actor in this movie. Morgan Freeman, Lucy Liu, Bruce Willis, Ben Kingsley.

Smh at least do it justice. I know you're a movie buff and all but this criticism isn't even fair.

It's not even the best over the top shooter with Morgan Freeman as the villain. Did Lucky Number Slvein have James McAvoy? Did Morgan Freeman say "shoot THIS motherfucker?'

Hartnett is not above LaBeouf. LaBeouf, who was in no movie I have mentioned thus far, is at least unpredictable. Hartnett just doesn't do quality stuff. He's like, the guy you call when Ben Affleck tells you you aren't offering him enough money. Slevin isn't that great of a suspense movie. It's not even a suspense movie haha. It's just an action movie. And not a very good one.

 

No one can name the last movie either of then have done without looking on imdb

Branden Albert came into Chart House (where i work) tonight. It's a really established 40+ year old fine dining restaurant downtown so NFL players are there kinda often actually.

He was limping. bad. every Jags fan server in the restaurant saw it.
He might not just be holding out for more money.
What a horrible LT swap. We clearly chased Albert with NO reliable information. Why didn't they just extend Beachum at 10M per?? He didn't even have leverage to get more money!

 

just because you called the ending doesn't mean everyone does sit down. They set a lot of details up, it's a very nice and neat house of cards if you don't see it coming.

LaBeouf is the main character in that movie is he not? the protege that Angelina Jolie takes under her wing?
