Those are the two that come to mind and while I like at least 2 other ManOrch records I don't reach for them often and I don't really consider myself a huge fan of that band per se

Now I'mma just go listen to "Stop the World" and "Everything You're Not" a bunch of times.

 

Even 1999 wears on me, it's so hard to define what makes the golden age classics because on paper Joey does it right, but it feels almost like a gimmick because there's nothing else to his music and he treats it like homage instead of letting it stand on its own as good music.

Yeah that's fair. I guess I'm just down with it cause it's still good stuff regardless of how hard he leans on his influence. But I do totally see where you're coming from!

Moving Mountains- S/T

The latter is weird because I'd feel comfortable calling it my fav album period but their other LPs do absolutely nothing for me

 

Yeah, it's still a good mixtape, I just wish he could distinguish himself more, because it feels like he doesn't have enough to say otherwise.

 

I can't stand Lorde. I think her voice sounds like a slithery snake and every time she hisses out that lyric about them loving the beach and being a damn liar I die.
