Mixon* but yeah....not a fan of this. How can you be?

Ultimately, I don't think they draft him but if they do....ugh.

I have no idea but I also dk now half these guys get drafted. Espn did an interview with cook and asked him if he has any regrets about all the awful shit he's done, he pretended he never did anything bad and continued talking about how good he is at football.

I don't understand why so many people think the Eagles need to take a RB with one of their first two picks

    Establish the OL first

    Wrong draft for that

Please, Eagles, don't take Mixon or Cook. If McCaffrey isn't on the board when we're up I'd be totally okay with rousing on defense or even a WR

Definitely not the draft to establish OL high. Plus, I'm actually pretty positive on the outlook of our OL going forward. Could they use another piece or two? Sure....but you figure this is JP's last year so next year you kick Lane over the LT and put Vaitai/Seumalo at RT (IMO, Vaitai). You have Seumalo/Brooks as your Gs and I think that leaves a gap for a Center because Kelce needs to disappear.

I dunno, I just don't think the OL is as bad/grim as many seem to think. But, like you, I am also not on board with taking a RB high in a deep RB draft.

I think the Eagles want Derek Barnett, IMO. If he's there I think he's the pick. If not, then I think it's one of Conley/McCaffrey/John Ross.

I will scream and barf my guts up if they draft Charles Harris at 14. I cannot explain to you how much I would hate that.

Ryan Ramcyvjelsjtivut isn't a bad option there. Hell, trade down for Forrest Lamp or take him there if WRs aren't there

Would be very okay with any of the ones you mentioned in the first half of your post. I've read some people saying "Eagles fans want them to draft defense high, but defense wasn't the main problem in 2016 - it was offense" which I understand, but with our WR acquisitions and a deep RB class, I'd much rather just beef up the defense with at least our first overall pick.

I'm not particularly attached to any one player, which I suppose is a good thing in the event we don't get them. I'd totally understand drafting any one of Barnett/Conley/McCafferty/Ross if their there.

But speaking of RB, I've read rumors that people don't think Mathews will be on the team by the start of the season. I suppose it'd be easier to answer this after the draft, but how important do you think it is for us to draft a RB high? The class is deep in this draft and even if we don't get the guy, we could always keep Mathews around for this season maybe? I'm just thinking put loud at this point so I'll stop and wait for a response haha

The RB are just too good. You're missing wide on talent if you skip a good RB class for a terrible OT class.

Otherwise id want the Jags to take an OT in round 1 right now.

Eagles should take Kamara in the 2nd, if he falls to them.

I don't mean necessarily take OL in round 1, just take OL higher than RB. I am perfectly fine with Smallwood/Sproles/literally any short yardage back this year. OL could still use some depth (and I'm still nervous about Lane).

That said, they really should draft 2 CBs and a WR in the first four rounds

I wasn't clear - I think the Eagles have improvements to be made on the offensive line that supercede the need for RB early in the draft. I don't necessarily want them to take OL in round 1, especially with such good classes at CB and WR which are much bigger needs IMO than RB

This is not that good of a WR class. I wouldn't look for one after round 2.

    No way...right??

I'd be sprinting to the podium at 14 even with the news yesterday.

You'd think this teams #1 need is corner (and if they go that route, I am MORE than okay with it because it very much is a need) but the fact that the Eagles defense last year allowed the 12th least PPG from opposing offenses, means that while there are holes and need fixed, its far from desperation. Although as I sit here on 4/21 and look at the cornerback depth chart, it does give me a bit of a panic attack.

As far as Ryan Mathews is concerned, I'm not sure why he's still on the team. I don't think he will be come Week 1 and that is more so because I do think the Eagles address RB in the first three rounds and will keep Smallwood/Sproles/Rookie there and open up a spot elsewhere.

McCaffrey is the only RB I would take in the first round (I'd take Fournette, too, but he will be gone). I'm not touching Dalvin Cook until the second. If they don't get McCaffrey then give me Alvin Kamara in the 2nd or James Connor at the end of the 3rd or 4th round.

Yup. Chris Godwin is my favorite 2nd/3rd round WR and then it falls off for me there. I think Damore'ea Stringfellow is a nice sleeper late but he has the brains of a bowl of mashed potatoes so....ya know.

I know its ignorant but I am just so anti USC WRs, I can't wrap my head around JuJu. Kupp is intriguing, though. Don't know enough about Dupre to have much of a real opinion on him.
