Haim Break Down Summer 2017 Album: 'You Don't Even Know What's Coming'

 

It's strange how common it's become for musicians to release their sophomore album 3-4 years after the debut

 

its potentially a good thing imo. they say you have your whole life to make your debut album but only a year to make your sophomore album. if bands wanna take more time and have the breathing room they're afforded for their debut they should take as much time as they need

 

Definitely agree, I'm happy with bands taking as long as they need to. I'm not really a fan of rushing it because they feel like they have to

 

Thread bump just to say I'm going to buy this shirt as soon as medium comes back in stock on their webstore. Also I'm on a HAIM kick. I wish it was warmer outside.

Kinda similar but not really if you compare directly.

 

AHHHHh, another week?? i mean, we've been waiting for 4 years at this point so that's nothing, but the fact that we KNOW an announce is coming makes it feel so much longer

 

I mean, it is similar. Especially just sonically speaking if you think about the drum fill part in the clip and compare that with the first time the synth comes in on Banquet. It's the first think I thought of(and then I compared directly).

Not complaining, I'm just a guy who can't tell a snare from a tom making an observation.

Lets get back on track here:

This is my most anticipated album this year.
