Actually I think you're right with that, they pretty much all broke up with partners after it

The Self-Titled record is the exact same as "Ocean Avenue", "Say it Like You Mean It", and even "Enema of the State" for me. I can't get myself to return to ANY of those albums, but each of those garnered probably 1 million plays each from me when I was younger.

I can't objectively rank them because they haven't stuck with me over the years but at the same time the nostalgia is overwhelmingly strong. I think each band improved as songwriters but how can I vote against the albums that started it all for me?

I'm with ya. Honestly, Self-Titled blew my mind when I was 17. It was catchy like blink, but seemed heavy and fast Like No Use for a Name. I don't think I've ever played a cd more than I did when that was new. I wish I had iTunes then and could have seen the song count. Also, my first ever show was right after S/T came out and I saw NFG open for Felix Tx. It gave me tingles all over.

Can we agree is NFG had an album full of hardcore riffs ala "At Least I'm Known For Something" would be awesome as hell? #easycore

If we look at CH as a one off, NWAF seems like a standard progression from Catalyst. Just a little less poppy/moar hardcore to get some street cred back.

I'm apparently the minority that loves Not Without A Fight. The only thing I wasn't a fan of were the Chad chants.

"I'll Never Love Again", "Truck Stop Blues", "Right Where We Left Off", "Such a Mess"....some of my favorite NFG songs ever. Definitely love that album.

I'm in the camp that doesn't really get Coming Home... I appreciate that they tried something different but I don't go back to it at all and never have. I remember thinking the b-sides were better.

You know usually I hate album rankings but I don't think I've ever actually tried it with NFG before

    1. Self-titled
    2. Catalyst
    3. Sticks & Stones
    4. Coming Home
    5. Radiosurgery
    6. Resurrection
    7. Nothing Gold Can Stay
    8. Not Without a Fight

I realize this is likely an unpopular ranking. I have a huge amount of nostalgia for Catalyst (Doubt Full and No News Is Good News are incredibly underrated songs and finally hearing them live last month was an awesome experience), and I've never been crazy about the second half of S&S other than Forget My Name and The Story So Far. I also find Radiosurgery super underrated, as I've said in here before, and I'm not a fan of NWAF at all. Like someone else said there's maybe two songs on there that I can recall off the top of my head (Truck Stop Blues and Listen To Your Friends, both of which I like a lot).

Fuck leaks but I'm very excited for MMS judging from people's reactions in here.

Did anyone's pre-orders ship yet? And by the way, Chad recently ranked all their albums on some site, it's a good read.

    Mine hasn't.

He ranked them again? I know he did a year or two ago after resurrection was released.

Can you post a link, please?
