I think Jinder could be a pretty decent heel

 

he's been a jobber for literally his entire career and just like that... he's now wrestling for the "biggest belt" in the company? that's asinine story telling right there. If this were for a mid-card belt....or if this were just some feud with someone like Zayn where all of sudden, he introduces his new regime. I'm TOTALLY cool with that.

But the jump from Curt Hawkins to wrestling for the WWE title at a ppv.... im sorry i cant accept that!

 

Who would you rather feed to Orton for his first feud with the belt? He isn't dropping it. At least with Jinder he can lose to Orton and I don't care he loses to Orton.

 

Jinder vs Orton not only doesn't belong on a PPV, it barely qualifies for a house show.

 

I'm fine with pushing a new heel or whatever but the thing that bothers me most about this Jinder crap is that he immediately went right for "YOU RACIST AMERICANS" which is the most tired heel shtick there is

 

Yup - they did it twice last night too if you include Owens' promo

 

But sadly it works and generates heat.

Its so funny listening to Bryan and Mike (when the match was announced) talk about how putting Jinder in the match made no sense. Can't wait to hear Alvarez flip out about the outcome.

Luke Harper would have been the ideal feud, but, the face/face dynamic there they clearly didnt want. And it cant be Rowan because he'll be "done" with Bray.

That said, might as well have slingshot Aiden English up over the last month or two. Or had Rhyno turn on Heath and use him as the filler heel. Both had a shot of getting a better reaction than Jinder. And both dont seem to have anywhere else to go moving forward

 

uh did you hear those boos? I feel like those were the loudest non-Roman boos a heel has gotten in a while.

 

Jinder actually can generate hate. This may actually work.

It should have been Orton vs Owens....or Orton vs harper....or Orton vs aj....or hell Orton vs Corbin even. Yeah my answer is Corbin. The guys been built well all year. It would make sense.
