I would have to say Braves, easily. I still think Minnesota is going to be a competitive team, while I think the Braves are going to be really bad. Dozier, Plouffe, and Sano are a combined 14/92. The Twins have solid MLB regulars that are heavily underperforming relative to their career averages. As I said in my prior post, the pitching has been OK. Hitters go through slumps, it happens. The problem comes about when it's almost your entire offense slumping at once.

The Braves just don't have much talent in their lineup at all. Look at their offense alone, it's like a big group of castoffs (and Freeman). Aybar, Pierzynski, Markakis, Stubbs, Beckham, Johnson, Flowers, Francouer. How many of those guys were backups on other teams, or just kind of let go of by their old teams?

I guess it's possible that the Twins season just falls apart completely and they never recover at all, but it seems unlikely that they end up playing worse than the Braves, just due to the talent level of the guys on their roster alone. Dozier is unlikely to bat under .200, Sano is going to connect on a few balls. We'll see, I guess.

It's obviously the Braves. I actually think the Gwinnett Braves would finish with a better record than the Atlanta Braves.

Wonder if they have a running bet in the clubhouse for that?

I hope they aren't down on themsleves. I mean, according to their manager they are the best 0-8 in history.

Meanwhile, in Washington, Bryce Harper hits a grand slam to inch the Braves closer to 0-9.

Can't watch the game b/c of work, I wonder if Teheran threw at him?

That's true but maybe Gwinnett does, thinking "Man, we'll be up there next year!"

They could literally beat this Braves team. I can't wait for all of the those guys to be up. This is a completely unwatchable product.

At least I have Ramos in fantasy, and I do not have Teheran. So there's that.

    Braves should've challenged that.

Local radio have resorted to hoping that the Braves break the all time worst record for a 162-game season. 40-122 by the Mets in 1952 is apparently that mark.

I wouldn't have guessed the record for losses was that high. That seems pretty unbreakable.

Harper's swings make me think every ball should go 900 feet.

1st grand slam on his 100th career homer. Pretty surprising, but I guess when you hit 42 HRs in a year but only end up with 99 RBIs, you're probably hitting a lot of solo shots.

61 career solo dingers and 25 last year when he hit 42 HRs.

I had to turn down free behind the plate/all-you-can-eat seats to the G-Braves game tonight because my girlfriend is going overseas for a week tomorrow, and tonight is the last time I'll see her before she leaves. If only I didn't care about my happy home..:sly: haha

Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.

Chris Archer is 0-3 to start the season. Didn't see that happening so quickly.

It's quite a solid lineup if healthy (and it can't get any unhealthier than it was last year) and his impact should be a lot greater this year. Absolutely no help for him last year.

Strasburg's debut is one of my favorite pitching performances that I've ever watched live (on my computer). His stuff was electrifying that night.

Imagine pitching for the Cubs. Like, that's an immediate confidence boost knowing you have this kind of run support.

Here is my issue with this team: these games are taking way too long because they score so much.

This lineup wrecks souls. Just constant scoring

I wish Schwarber was alive to see it :'(
