FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Sheeran is talented sure. Didn't really have any strong feelings of hate towards him though til that fucking terrible song he played on the Grammys.

  5. When I had to sit through MCR at the Blink show a few years ago, it was awful. While everyone around me was standing up and singing along, my little brother and I were just sitting in our seats dinking around on our phones and shooting the shit, not paying any attention. And then all of a sudden out of nowhere people started yelling at us to stand up, like they were offended we were sitting down. So we were like, "Fine whatever" and stood up, and I guess they were playing the "Cancer" song and maybe said "stand up if you hate cancer" or something? hahaha I really don't even know. But god that band....

:( I love that band man lol I had a blast when they opened for blink, seeing them open for my number 1 band. Different strokes I guess lol

  7. I think the only time i've ever liked a full lineup at a Blink show was when it was JEW/Green Day/Blink. Every other show of theirs I've been to, there's always been at least one dud, or band I just didn't really care about.

I can see this. Although in hind sight I don't think I've seen many perfect lineup shows from any concert I've gone to

  10. Yeah, there hasn't been many perfect lineup tours, but I've been to a few.

Off the top of my head:
    - Armor For Sleep, Say Anything, Recover
    - Say Anything, Moneen, Eisley, Moving Mountains
    - Jimmy Eat World, Paramore, Dear and the Headlights
    - Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Rufio
    - Box Car Racer, The Used, H2O
    - Dashboard Confessional, New Found Glory (acoustic)
    - Caspian, Underoath

Really baffled at how often Beyonce is mentioned. I understand people being ignorant and saying Kanye, some of the shit he's said in the past year is super problematic, but idk what Beyonce did aside from release great music/visuals.

    -Brand New, Rise Against
    -MCR, TBS, Linkin Park
    -Thrice, Alkaline Trio, Rise Against
    -AAR, ADR, Blink

    That's about it

  13. for real. Lemonade should have won all the awards. it was such a solid release, especially with the visual aspects of it too. the only thing that's off-putting about her is that she comes off as so holier-than-thou in performances sometimes. in interviews and stuff though, when she's not putting on a show, she seems very down to earth.

  14. Never was a fan of Rise Against or Linkin Park. I wish the SLC on Blink's last tour gave us AAR, but we got ATL instead, which sucked, haha.

I like LP up until this newest album of theirs... lol. Rise Against is actually super good live too, I've had friends not into their music say their performance was top notch

  16. man, my girlfriend played me a song the other day and was like "guess who this is!" and for the life of me, i had no clue, and then she was like, "....LINKIN PARK!!!!" and it was that awful new single that sounds like a Chainsmokers/Halsey wannabe. i can't imagine what my peers in high school who worshiped Linkin Park would have thought if they knew that THIS is what LP would become, hahahaha.

Best line up that I saw and enjoyed from beginning to end would probably be Green Day, NFG and Sugarcult. Otherwise I'd say blink, Green Day and Saves the Day but I didn't really enjoy Saves the Day and wished I could have gotten Jimmy Eat World at my show instead. Also throw in Paramore, Metric and Hellogoodbye, although wasn't a big Hello fan and thought they were only ok.

Oh trust me I get it. Like I said I've liked them until now, and then I've heard the two songs they've released from their newest album. I know exactly which song you are talking about because I thought I had loaded the wrong song. Then I was like "not buying this. Linkin who?" Which sucks cause I was so excited that it and cali deluxe come out the same day

Best gig line up one is difficult. Does it count when there's only two bands? Brand New supporting Biffy Clyro was incredible. Never listened to The Front Bottoms, but when Frank Turner supports Blink this summer, that line up will be right up there too.

Completely unrelated to everything in this thread, but how fucking good is the new Paramore? I love it when I have super high hopes for something, totally hyped up, and still manage to get blown away. Hope the rest of the new Blink is the same.

Chad Gilbert prior to Skiba joining Blink..."I don’t know whether you’ve seen Blink live but Tom sometimes sounds like shit live! He writes great songs but who knows, maybe the new singer will sing better live and people will be like, “Damn! He actually sounds better than Tom!”
