So how many bands this year do we think will have a song called House on Fire?

Kind of a cool artwork premise. Was never a huge fan but this band has totally lost me in recent years

    No Fun. Not Ever.

Need to revisit these guys again, it's been a while. Have not put out anything good in some time.

  6. I'll give it a chance but I haven't liked them in like 3 albums.

    New song - The Violence

    hmmm

It's pretty good. Like that little underlying guitar part that comes in on the second line of the verse.

Someone on Reddit has found what appears to be an official press release about the album:

    Rise Against | Shrine Auditorium

More at the link, but just going to put this here:

Yeah I really like that artwork. Looks cool. Song is pretty standard Rise Against but it's not bad. I'm gonna go listen to a bunch of their discography today. So much good stuff.

I really dig the new song, it's their best lead single since "Ready to Fall" IMO

really dig this song, not sure what to make of the lyrics except they could possibly be referring to police brutality or just violence against humans in general while also having some introspection on Tims behalf.

Seems to me it's more "I thought we were better than this, but now we're here we have to be"

Musically, The Violence definitely seems to me to be drawing on Tragedy + Time.
