Haha I'm not quite that aggressive. I've really only been following in a serious manner since they won their cup in '09 and I am very aware of how lucky this team has gotten with the talent that they have and have had in the past. That awareness is not something that many of the Pittsburgh sports fans (at least those from the city) seem to be aware of haha.

The NHL scheduling for this playoff just seems so weird. They didn't space out the games well at all.

 

I hope they get swept for that.

Wishing the Jackets trainer Vogt would have ran onto the ice last night and forced the refs to stop the game when Zach got hit with the puck. I realize the Jackets won't get the benefit of the doubt from refs, but that whole segment just leaves me bitter as a fan. We lose a really good player and a fifth skater and give up a goal. That's Columbus hockey. Anything that can go wrong does eventually.

 

Except of course from a Perds perspective, in which case, yes we have taken the best kind of dump possible in going down 0-2.

 

Please stop. Roughly 35 of the 50 entries in my pool have Chicago/Washington as the final matchup, and only one person has Nashville getting out of the second round. That person is my wife. I need Nashville to win, even though it completely torpedoes my entry

 

the sharks have started to move away from carrying it in to pure dump and chase and it makes me so sad.

Local sports talk show was just talking about this for the blue jackets. Win streaks are mentally and physically exhausting.

I'm listening to Hockey PDOcast and they are talking about the Wild/Blues series preview.

It's kind of funny to hear how much they were gushing about the wild compared to the blues and how the series has now turned out.

 

"This is hockey so I totally expect Jake Allen to have the series of his life and the Blues win in 5"

It's so true how funny that statement is now hearing in the preview they were doing.
