What would you be looking to get for time and the batman and the black glove? I probably shouldn't spend money, but asking doesn't hurt! Haha.

time and the batman i think i could do for $3.50 + shipping (not sure what that would come out to).

as far as the black glove, i just looked into it and it's out of print. cheapest on amazon is $20. they've now printed it combined with batman and son and you can get that for under $10 on instocktrades, so that would definitely be the way to go for that one!

Okay cool. Lemme get back to you on time and the batman! But if someone else wants it before I do that, send it to them.

@Henry, was wondering if i could do a write up for the first post.

    Punk Rock Jesus (Vertigo)
    W: Sean Murphy
    A: Sean Murphy
Sean Murphy writes and draws this six issue mini series that blends religion and politics extremely well. Focusing on a reality TV show in which the second coming of Jesus Christ is cloned, Punk Rock Jesus takes you on a wild ride from start to finish. The character work here is stunning, and you really care about everyone by the end. Murphy's pencils are absolutely gorgeous, and I don't think having the art colored would add anything at all to the book. I've read the book yearly since it came out (2013) and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. - Ben

Been catching up on some Indie / Image stuff.

Invincible - Finally caught up after being 12 issues behind. I am excited to see how this ends. This was a book that I have jumped on and off every few years since it first launched. Even when I am not enjoying it as much as I used to, I find myself missing it and catching up. That said, I am glad that Kirkman saw an opportunity to provide an ending and has taken it. Invincible will always hold a place in my heart as one of my earliest "indie" comic loves. Some finality will be nice.

Seven to Eternity - First, holy cow that art. I have only read the first two issues, but that art is simply stunning. After my first read through, I immediately went back and did a "pictures only" read through to take in all the detail. As for the actual story, I was really impressed by the first issue. The second issue was a bit of a let down, coming off the high of issue 1, but I am going to read the next few issues and hope it lives up to the promise of the first issue. Remender is a real talent, and it responsible for one of my absolute favorite comics on the stands right now, so has earned the benefit of the doubt moving forward.

I had no idea what Invincible was until about two days ago. The covers are very misleading.

It just kicked off a 12 part arc that will conclude the series. The first two issues have been released, so the next 10 issues will be the last. I think it is ending around issue 145 or something like that.

The first 50 issues or so were just tons of fun. After that, it had highs and lows, but never really reached the heights of those initial 50 issues. Kirkman got real sidetracked because of the success of Walking Dead and Invincible kind of suffered as a result, IMO.

hopefully they'll do one more compendium to complete the series. i'd like to pick it up that way.

I picked up the first issue 'cause their run on Batgirl was my fav, but while it really resembled their Batgirl run in a lot of the right ways, it didn't really pull me in. Not sure why. I'll definitely get the trades eventually, though. I'll buy basically anything with Babs Tarr art at this point, I think.

SPIDER-MEN II Will Unite Peter Parker and Miles Morales at Last! (Exclusive) | Nerdist

Not really any new news in the further announcement, besides the obvious: Spider-Men II by Bendis, Pichelli, and Ponsor will center on Peter and Miles, and the concept of legacy, while also answering what Peter saw at the end of the original Spider-Men after googling "Miles Morales" in the 616 universe.

Still, that's all I need to know in order to be excited for this!

Reading at this very moment so it shouldn't take long. I kind of got side tracked on the Bendis one, ha.

Haven't bought much in a while but finally got Snotgirl Vol 1 (loved it) and the first Gwenpool trade (was very fun) and one of books from the past few years, Runaways Vol 1 Complete Collection. What should I go get next time to stay more current (besides a Squirrel Girl book)

Also is anyone reading Hawkeye? My partner was gonna buy all the floppies of it but issue 2 is OOP and couldn't get it so we're trade waiting

Also that Spider-Men II news is so exciting

I've only read the first few volumes of Invincible but I thought it started slowly, got really cool when he found out about his dad and then got a bit weak after his dad left. I was told it got a lot better though. I'd be disappointed if that was the best stuff.

    Helllll yeah.

I just read the first Miles book from the new run and I think Sara Pichelli's art was even better in that than the earlier stuff. I also read the first trade of the new Amazing Spider-Man and didn't really like it at all so I'm looking forward to getting some good PP stuff.

That was my favorite part of the series and I'm all caught up, haha. I felt the same way you did, the stuff with his dad is great. There's some good stuff along the way and the ending has been set up to be pretty epic, but considering money and time I wouldn't really recommend it to someone.
