My friend was hospitalized for doing too many dabs. I'll do them occasionally. But that guy was doing probably 25 dabs a day.

Are you serious? What happened to him? I don't see how there would be any sort of medical emergency for doing too many. At the same time, I've never done more than like 6 in a 24 hour period

 

He quit tree and only smoked dabs. All day. Everyday. For like a year. Dabs can be made a few ways, but the way his dabs were made was slightly toxic. That eventually built up in his liver and it almost shut his liver down. He's fine now, but he's back to tree only.

I wonder how his were made. The cheap/easy way people make them is with butane, but butane evaporates pretty much at room temperature, so I don't know how there would be any sort of solvent leftover in the final product. Weird.

It was the butane. There's some that still remains. The doctors did blood work and everything, told him that's what it was.
