I always bring that show up when talking about The State crew. Ahead of its time, cancelled too soon, all that. Stella was definitely better but it was still really, really good.

 

Now all I want to do is watch WHAS/The State/Stella

 

Laughter is contagious and when you're in a theater full of people to watch a comedy or seeing a comedian you're in a different head space and are prepared to laugh as opposed to sitting at home flipping through the channels and land on a movie. At least that's how I view it.

 

Harris Wittels Lives On in Houston Theater and a 4/20 "Harris Phest"

 

Harris Phest is only about 3.5 hours from me. If it were on the weekend, I'd probably go.

 

Yeah, that was really funny. Most of Paul Rudd's stuff got me. It's just, I've heard so much love for this movie so I was expecting to either love it or hate it (because humour can often go either way) but I just thought it was ok

 

I love it now, especially after watching the series (which I think is one of the best-executed reboots/continuations ever), but I remember thinking it felt dated the first time I watched it. Try the series. The movie might grow on you.

 

I'll give it a shot. I like most of the cast, obviously, and the concept sounds funny

 

Dated?!?!!? It's timeless!

 

Seriously, you won't regret it. Such a fun and easy watch.

 

Pretty much this. I don't think there is a moment of that movie that wouldn't hold up today

The Ten is the only Wain movie I still haven't seen. I always intend to but then completely forget it exists

 

Finally watched Micheal Bolton's Big Sexy Valentines Day Special. Whole thing was great but Tim Robinson's Chef Roy bit slayed me.

Using this time to plug Tim Robinson's episode of The Characters. I rewatch it pretty regularly, especially the Vegas singer bit.

 

I wasn't really into Louis CK's special tbh

 

On Cinema with Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington is so consistently good even with all the turns the story takes. Today's episode is not exception.

 

LMG back on DLM today, it's a real solid episode
