They'd just call it Dark Souls 4 to get that sales bump

 

Started Far Cry Primal last night. Not bad so far but Jesus are there alot of upgrade wheels/trees

 

I absolutely love my PS4 Pro, but there is still a serious bug with the HDR port. It's severely irritating that after this long Sony hasn't created a fix for it. Supposed to be their highest grade product and I can't leave the HDR color subsampling on with my tv because every minute the screen flashes black. Doesn't matter if I'm streaming, playing a game, or watching a blu-ray. I've tried everything including the start up in safe mode but absolutely nothing works.

 

See the reason why I think it has something to do with From is just so much of the imagery in there is reminiscent of Bloodborne. The hunter-style clothing on the characters, the gas masks, that one person turning into a beast, it all calls back to that. Plus, "Prepare to Dine"/"Prepare to Die." I don't know, it probably has nothing to do with from and I'm just getting my hopes up.

I saw one the other day. Was surprisingly small.

 

Just finished Tearaway. At first I was really enjoying it, then I went through a phase towards the middle section where it just felt a little too gimmicky. The light on the back of the controller, scraps stealing PS4 buttons, utilizing motion controls - I respected all of that but it felt a little too much at times.

Then as I got closer to the end I guess I started to embrace how unique it is. I came in expecting a platformer and it never truly played like one. Once I removed that preconception, the game blossomed for me. Really glad that I saw it through after I started having those aforementioned misgivings. Great little experience.

The Xbox Spring sale is pretty fucking bad in terms of newish games. Most of those were available for less money on day one on disc.

 

Bought Okami HD (PS3), Devil May Cry HD Collection (PS3), Dishonored Definitive Edition (PS4), and Psychonauts (PS4) in the PSN flash sale for like $20. Thanks for the heads up, @Dirty Sanchez! :)

 

Might buy the Dark Cloud games on psn for ps4. Every time they pop up in a flash sales I think about buying them and then forget.

Heard Liberation was supposed to be good, but never pulled the trigger on Vita. Doesn't seem it's on sale for that though, just PS3. Oh well.

Is anyone else that's a Sonic fan kinda disappointed that it looks like Green Hill Zone is going to come back again Sonic Forces? Don't get me wrong, I do love GHZ, but we don't need it again. Especially with it also being in Sonic Mania

 

Just got the nicest surprise in my email. PlayStation gave me an additional three month voucher for renewing my 12 month membership back in March.

I remember seeing the promotion advertised on Facebook not too long ago, but I never thought I'd get any compensation for it lol
