Going to apologize in advance for the annoying amount of posting I will do in this thread as I watch an insane amount of the livestream.

Preservation Jall Jazz Band are bad, bad men. Hot damn.

 

Post as much as you want!! My only request is to maybe spoiler tag and like, guest stars or set lists? I dunno, I don't want to know TOO much before next weekend

Switched off King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. I think I'm over them. They were kinda obnoxious.

Randomly hopped to Sohn, who I've legit never heard of, and he sounds fantastic.

 

They're using what seems to be drones to incorporate different angles in their live streams which is pretty neat.

BTW this is what I'll be doing all night: watching these streams, drinking some, eating some, playing Xbox(Borderlands?). A little tradition of mine.

 

The lizards are too much for me, they are putting out 7 albums this year or some shit, and it's just too dirty/druggy/messy for my tates

SOHN on the other hand is really fucking cool, he's a great producer that has worked with Banks a lot actually.

Enjoying this Bonabo set. Don't know who this is, but I like it.

 

I only checked out his new album because he was so good at a previous Coachella. He is killer live

 

Sampha was solid. Seems a bit inexperienced live, but he's talented so it evens out.

Francis is a god among men, but he's a little erratic on stage. The dance moves are fun but I could stand a bit more precision in the performance. Also doesn't seem like he'll play much of anything from It'll Be Better, which may not be unexpected, but is disappointing.

 

Banks time

 

Banks is so good right now and I'm so upset that she's conflicting with my schedule next weekend

 

There's a lot of back tracking going on with Banks.

 

Skipping Banks (whose pitch was spotty for the few minutes I watched) to watch Father John Misty. Who I want to hate for being so douchey and smug but he's just too good a writer

Randy Newman would love him

 

I like the stage Crystal Castles is on; at least at this time of day. Like their playing at one end of a giant hollow spaceship with the sun beating down on the far end to the stage.

 

Glass Animals set was fire.

 

Phantogram are off to a rough start

Were Crystal Castles as bad as people are saying? Sahara is wrong place for them...

 

I've never heard of them before the live stream but does she mumble often?

 

That Mac Miller crowd is massive!
