Fucking died at "I'm driving too fast in my LINCOLN TOWN CAR" and it got soooooo much worse. This band is full on clown show

 

Best three song stretch on this ?

 

Probably A Change of Heart, She's American, If I Believe You.

Would be Ballad and Somebody Else if I liked Loving Someone as much as those two.

 

I'd go with Lostmyhead, Ballad and Somebody Else.

 

The Sound, This Must Be My Dream, and Paris for me.

 

I think of this album in pairs so this is tough. Might honestly say Pbn, Lmh, Ballad. That, or Loving someone, title track, the sound. Or the sound, tmbmd, Paris. Dang, hard question. Ugh, CoH, she's American is tempting too but seems too obvious.

 

Ugh and Change of Heart would be my favourite pair but Love Me and She's American are two of my least favs.

 

Has been this for me for a little bit. But I always end up going with Loving Someone over Lostmyhead.

But the one two punch of Lostmyhead and Ballad is so fucking good. Because of that I'd kill for them to do the album in order this tour

 

Strangely, I agree that Love Me is one of the least amazing songs over time. Still an absolutely marvelous song, and the greatest first song you could ask for, but it's funny how overshadowed that song gets by all the rest of the album.

If I Believe You, Please Be Naked, and Lostmyhead is my favorite 3-song stretch, but that could easily become a fantastic 6-song stretch with Ballad, Somebody Else, and Loving Someone

 

This Must Be My Dream, Paris, Nana is the answer.

Love Me, Ugh, She's American would be close if you took out A Change of Heart.

 

I think it's awesome that we're still discussing this album in such detail over a year after its release. Shows how truly fantastic it is.

 

My answer would be, put the entire album on shuffle, and then play the three songs after that (in sequence).

If you break down each 3 song stretch, they all give off a different vibe for the portion of the album, and flow together too well. Bit of a cop out, but it's true to me!

 

Imagine this album as a series of like 4 EP's. Like tracks 1-5, 6-9, 10-13, 14-17. It makes sense

 

Both albums have very distinct sections

 

Yeah, that one would be like 3 eps, though they would be much more similar than the ones made out of this album.

 

I don't think I can take another year/year and a half of guessing and conjecture

 

Saw them last night. So glad they went to bigger venue size. So much room for dancing. Also ive seen these dudes 4 times just within this album cycle and i still have managed to never hear Paris at my dates. It was great show but very similar to fall tour.

I wish they'd play "The Ballad.." and "This Must Be My Dream" live. Pretty sure there were a few weeks they were playing "Ballad". Those are two of my favorite songs off this album. I know the band is one of the hardest working bands out there and it takes a toll, but I wish he could sing those live.

Is Ballad that difficult of a song to sing live? I know I've seen an interview where he says it's his most personal song on this album
