TDE just tweeted about the record being available on TIDAL. Find it a little strange that all the letters on the back cover seem to have shifted then when they tweeted about it on iTunes a couple hours ago...

Anyways. Second listen through and the album is great. Can't wait to listen more tomorrow.

 

Just finished the first listen. This is great, maybe not as strong at first listen as his previous work, but great nonetheless. The only track I'm not really feeling is GOD.

This whole second album theory is pushing all the right buttons for me. Damn Kdot, you're full of surprises. And yet, it looks like the evidence was there in front of us the whole time.

After my first listen, I really dig it. Gonna listen more to fully digest it but it's great.

I mean, what if the second album is just an alternate version of DAMN. with different beats/arrangements for each song? Would that be crazy or am I just putting too much thought into this?

Pride is my favorite track, but another solid release for sure from K Dot.

Just finished my first listen. Doesn't really grab me like Good Kid or Butterfly did, but it's still solid.

DNA, ELEMENT, LOVE, XXX....holy shit.

LOVE is Kendrick going the more poppy route and he totally kills it. Should be a big radio hit.
XXX......a Kendrick/U2 collab shouldn't work at all, but this song is amazing.

 

If there is a second album it's probably the same beats with different lyrics.

 

The version I purchased off iTunes has subtle differences, other than the FEAR extension.

 

OK so US got the album on iTunes now, but do all other countries STILL list Easter for release?

Also there's gonna be a lot of people disappointed when another album doesn't come. Obviously I'd love that but I'm not even getting close to getting my hopes up

 

Man, Kendrick knows how to end a fucking album.

 

I guess a combination of flow and vocal inflection. Don't think I'd heard that combo from him.

Outside of opening two tracks, favourite is probably Pride atm, the hook is otherworldly, Love is great too, hope it's a big commercial hit for Kung Fu Kenny too.
