When the weather first turns warmer, I get nostalgic. I'm weird.

 

My nostalgia tends to turn on during the colder months. Funny how that works.

I feel like it's with the changing seasons... cold -> hot and hot -> cold. Something about the change in weather makes me think about how things used to be. Then I want to listen to music that's comforting and reminds me of the past, yet inspires me for the future. i.e. "Just Exist."

 

the new Thursday album should be dropping soon. Thrice too. Wait. is this 2003?

 

Last year was so easy..cuz thrice.

 

Thrice will be back in the studio this year too.

 

I'll never forget the thrice/Thursday combo banner that hung above the music section at Best Buy that year. It was dope

I always get nostalgic when I do something badass and then remember it 5 years later.

 

I bought it at Walmart in 2006 and was like "WTF is this shit" I had only heard the 2003 album at the timem

I used to get a lot of cds at best buy. They had everything

 

They had everything and their prices were amazing. 9.99 for brand new albums? Okay.

I remember getting CDs at Sam Goody and they were like $18 sometimes. Now you can't give them away

 

I never really respond to trolls and shit on social media but I did yesterday.

This guy I met a couple years ago saw it, sent me the DMs, and WOW. My eyes are misty. People don't do shit like this for me lol The fleshlight part is solid gold.

 

Down with the SYG song..and much love for new found, but I haven't enjoyed an album of theirs since Coming home.
